Church and state
Religion is a new distinction between politics and society. Can we maintain the separation of church and state and religious freedom in a society that is becoming increasingly multi-religious? Some argue that the freedom of religion, education and association then needs to be drastically redefined. Other voices in the debate accentuate precisely the indispensability of religion for morality and community spirit. In any case, in these times it is good to re-examine the relationship between church and state. This theme will be supplemented in the near future with input from publications and research.
